- 1 cup milk of choice dairy or non-dairy (eg almond milk, coconut milk, etc.) I prefer coconut milk
- 1 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional)
Add all ingredients to a milk frother and froth until heated.
Alternatively, add all ingredients to a mug and microwave for 2 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Stir one more time, then serve and enjoy!
NOTE: Nutritional info is for coconut milk and 1 tsp maple syrup.
Use any plant-based milk like coconut, almond or soy milk.
If you can find fresh turmeric, thinly slice or grate 1 inch of it into the milk.
Add a pinch of black pepper or peppercorn to increase the absorption of the turmeric.
Simmer a whole stick of cinnamon instead of using ground cinnamon.
If you use fresh spices, make sure to strain them out before drinking.
Add in some maple syrup or raw honey to sweeten your golden milk.
Store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days then reheat in the microwave until warm.
